Ice Cream workshop at Örum
We’ve taken our time perfecting our ice cream. The milk comes from our friends Anna and Mikael in Smedstorp. The chocolate from the Österlenchoklad. The pistachios come from Sicily and Iran. We use Marcona almonds, and our liquorice ice cream is made using liquorice root from Calabria. The vanilla is the best and comes from Tahiti or Madagascar. 90% of our ingredients are organic.
But the secret to our ice cream is its freshness. After years of experimentation, we’ve come to the conclusion that the biggest difference is whether the ice cream is freshly made or has gone into the freezer at minus 23 degrees. Therefore, throughout the summer, we serve freshly made ice cream in our Ice Cream Bar.
But perhaps the best ice cream is the one you make in your own kitchen.
Ice Cream in the Café
During autumn, winter and spring, you will find a selection of our ice cream desserts and ice cream cakes inside the Café. Visit us at our Ice Cream Bar or our Ice CreamCafé in the courtyard during the summer season, when we serve freshly made ice cream every day, in cones or cups, to sit in or for take away. The range of ice cream desserts is also wider during the summer.
