The Shop at Örum 119

Some of you may have noticed that where there used to be a small garden shop at Örum, there are now some pretty good croissants being made. Now we have a new shop at Örum, although it is twice the size of our current space, it will still be a small shop. We are ambitious about the potential of Örum and put a lot of effort and care into everything we do; however, growing a big business is not our purpose.

Over the years, one of the most frequent questions our guests have asked us is, where can we find this or that? With the new shop, we want to provide items we use at Örum 119 on a daily basis, and that are available to our guests. Glassware, cutlery, tableware, towels, shampoo, soap.

The garden stuff will still be the backbone of the shop, and we’re very proud to be able to offer some of the best garden tools on the market: Sneeboer, Toyama Hamono, Bradleys and, of course, our own flowerpots handmade by Whichford Pottery. There will still be a wide range of Vetra Jackets and other things we love to wear.

Perhaps most importantly, we’re making artisan products for the larder in our new bakery. Available are jams, cookies, crispbreads and cordials, all handcrafted by our team. Daylesford Farm has been a great inspiration to our new shop and is worth the detour if you’re ever in the Cotswolds. We love their field to farm shop aesthetic, which echoes our approach – everything at Örum is carefully considered, lovingly crafted, and brought together for our visitors.

For those of you who can’t make it to Österlen, we will make many of our in-house produce and the wares we have carefully selected from our travels available online.

For those who can stop by, please come, say hi and grab yourself a croissant or two.
